Police look for suspects after armed bank robbery in Gilroy

Police are looking for two suspects from an armed bank robbery in Gilroy on Thursday afternoon.

The suspects, both of whom were wearing masks, “entered the bank and robbed it at gunpoint” and then “fled in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of currency,” according to a news release from the Gilroy Police Department.

No one was injured in the robbery, according to the same news release.

The incident happened on 6900 block of Camino Arroyo, with Gilroy police officers responding to the report at around 2 pm

NO other information was available at this time.

Gilroy police officers are currently investigating the matter.
