EAST PALO ALTO – One person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting Tuesday night in East Palo Alto, police said.
The shooting was reported just after 6 pm at Jack Farrell Park on the 2500 block of Fordham Street, said East Palo Alto Interim Police Chief Jeff Liu in a news release.
Officers found one victim at the park, Liu said, adding that he died of his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Two other victims showed up at a Menlo Park Fire Protection District fire station in East Palo Alto, where they were treated before being taken to the hospital, Liu said. A fourth victim was identified at a home on Fordham Street, but they did not request medical treatment.
Liu described the shooting as a “targeted attack.”
