OAKLEY — Authorities said they will share an update Thursday on their investigation into a woman missing for more than four months.
On Wednesday, a city spokeswoman said Oakley police chief Paul Beard would share developments in the case of Alexis Gabe, last seen January 26 in Antioch, in an 11 am press conference at city hall chambers, 3231 Main St.
Investigators seeking Gabe have shared few details beyond the recovery of her cell phone case in an Antioch neighborhood last month.
After friends and loved ones began working to raise awareness about Gabe’s plight, holding a public march and coordinating search efforts with volunteers, family members raised a $10,000 reward for information leading to her discovery.
Check back for updates.
