OAKLAND — Several people were hospitalized after an injury shooting Thursday in a downtown Oakland bar, authorities said.
Shortly before 10:30 pm, police responded to reports of ShotSpotter activity in the 300 block of 14th Street outside a sports bar.
When officers patrolling downtown arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, followed by a third person soon after. About fifteen minutes later, officers learned a fourth person managed to obtain their own transportation to a hospital.
Firefighters and paramedics also responded, providing care before taking victims to a hospital. The victims’ conditions were not immediately available late Thursday.
Investigators did not immediately share any associated suspect or vehicle description.
For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in each shooting. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
