Group of teens in Redwood City robbed at gunpoint – The Mercury News

A group of teenagers were robbed at gunpoint in an unincorporated part of Redwood City early Saturday morning, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Police said a woman approached the group of teenagers around 12:40 am Friday at the 1800 block of Hull Avenue and pointed a gun at them.

The woman painstakingly grabbed one of the victims by the neck and forced them to the ground, and confronted a second victim and took his wallet before fleeing the scene in a silver four-door car, police said.

The teens said the suspect was wearing all green and black clothing with a hoodie.

Authorities are still investigating the incident. Anyone with information on the incident can call the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at 1-800-547-2700.
