3 hit-and-run drivers kill California homeless man in crosswalk

A man pushing a cartful of belongings across Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton against a red light early Monday, June 27, was struck by three hit-and-run vehicles, killing him, authorities said.

At about 1:30 am, while in a crosswalk at Southgate Avenue, a white Dodge Charger slammed into him, surveillance video shows, Fullerton police Capt. Jon Radus said.

Moments later, the man was hit a second time, by a black Jeep Wrangler.

The cart the man was pushing carried many of his belongings, and those were knocked into the intersection, Radus said.

He was surrounded by debris as he laid in the street when he was struck again, by a white, two-door Honda Civic two minutes after the first two crashes.
